-The bus will only pick up those who are in Kindergarten through 12th grade.
-Where we pick you up is where you will be dropped off. If you want to go to a friends house after church you need to arrange that at home.
-Before crossing in front of the bus, please stop and look to make sure no cars are passing.
-No throwing trash out of the windows, no body parts out of the windows and no shouting out the windows.
-No foul language. There will be a two week dismissal from the bus if you violate this.
-No back-talking, mocking or disrespecting the leaders. There will be a two week dismissal from the bus if you violate this.
-No fighting or touching someone with the intent to abuse them. There will be a two month dismissal from the bus if you violate this, unless the leaders feel that the violations are large enough to warrant permanent removal.
-If you get kicked off the bus or out of one of our Wednesday night programs, the only way you can come to church is with a parent.
-If you get kicked off the bus or out of one of our Wednesday night programs, these steps will be taken: 1st time- required time away from church; 2nd time- required time away from church and a "Notification of Discipline" form signed by a parent; 3rd time- required time away from church, a "Notification of Discipline" form signed by a parent and you are not allowed to come back until a parent attends church with you twice; 4th time- permanent dismissal.
-If you are on the regular route and there is a day you do not need to be picked up, please call and notify Louie at 249-3484.
-In case of inclement weather, be sure to check out the “Official Tribe Group!” page on facebook for updates.
Each year Grace Community Church takes over 400 hours and over $3000 in gas to pick kids up for church. In the seven years doing this, we have spent over $20,000 on this ministry. Being a part of the bus route is a privilege and not a right. As an organization, we don’t like having a large list of rules. We have these rules for the safety of the group, to keep the group attitude positive and to not let a faction of divisive individuals ruin the event for the rest.
Experiences in the past have shown us that not only do we need to be clear about the rules, but to be clear on the consequences as well.
